Terms of service
The terms for using the Carstylus website and our digital resources.
1. Who we are
Carstylus is operated by Studiowalker LLC. These terms cover carstylus.com and Carstylus digital products. Questions about products, licenses or these terms can be sent to aaron@carstylus.com.
2. Our digital products
Our current planned collection consists of two Blender add-ons: Clay Tools and Region Sculpt-to-Retopo, each with a planned one-time price of $19.99 USD. Both are in development and marked coming soon; neither is available to purchase or preorder.
Other digital resources may be developed in the future, but there are no model asset packs or ebooks currently listed for sale. Review each released product’s description, included files, supported software and license before purchasing.
3. Orders, prices and delivery
Prices on upcoming listings are proposed USD prices. When sales open, the checkout will show the final payable amount, currency and applicable taxes before payment. The currently planned collection consists of one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions.
We plan to sell through Paddle as merchant of record. Where an order is placed through Paddle, Paddle’s buyer terms govern the sale and payment, alongside the product license and applicable Carstylus terms. The listing and purchase confirmation will explain digital delivery. There are no physical shipments.
4. Licenses and intellectual property
Clay Tools and Region Sculpt-to-Retopo declare the GNU General Public License, version 3 or any later version (GPL-3.0-or-later). Their release will include the applicable license notices and corresponding source as required by that license.
The GPL governs use, copying, modification and redistribution of the covered add-on code. These store terms do not impose a single-user limit or override, remove or restrict permissions granted by the GPL. Charging for a software distribution does not change those rights. See the GNU GPL v3 for the license text. Third-party components, if any, retain their applicable notices and licenses.
Website writing, artwork and branding are separate from the add-on code and are not licensed under the GPL merely by appearing on this website. Use them only with permission, an applicable express license, or as allowed by law. These terms do not grant trademark rights in Carstylus or other brands. Do not use the website unlawfully or attempt unauthorized access to systems.
5. Compatibility, updates and support
Compatibility will be specified per released product. Purchase does not include future products, perpetual updates, custom design services or lifetime support unless expressly included in the listing. For download, installation or product issues, contact us with the product name and order reference. Never email full payment-card details.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
See our refund policy for how to request a refund. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law gives you. A specific product license cannot override rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Website and product information
We aim to describe products accurately and keep the website available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that a resource will meet every individual creative goal. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make additional warranties beyond the product description and express commitments made at purchase. Nothing here excludes liability or statutory obligations where exclusion is prohibited by law.
8. Privacy, external links and changes
Our privacy policy explains information handling. External services have their own terms and privacy practices. Material changes to these terms will be dated here and do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
